PAL-GHK (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, 10mg) is a synthetic lipopeptide formed by conjugating the GHK tripeptide sequence (glycine-histidine-lysine) with a C16 palmitoyl fatty acid chain at the N-terminus. The palmitoyl modification dramatically increases the compound’s lipophilicity relative to the unmodified GHK tripeptide, enhancing its ability to partition into lipid-rich biological environments and penetrate the stratum corneum barrier that limits the dermal delivery of hydrophilic peptides. It is also known in the cosmetic ingredient literature as Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and under the trademarked cosmetic designation Biopeptide-CL.
